When you graduate, you will receive an official Certificate of Completion from the Peace Corps. This gives you a competitive edge if you apply to be a Peace Corps volunteer, but also provides skills that are valuable in broad range of international development roles.

I always dreamt of serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer. Serving in the Peace Corps gave me amazing opportunities to learn about the beautiful country, Zambia, international development, and myself. I would not be who I am today if I hadn’t served in the Peace Corps. I hope to serve again later on in my life!

Clark Coverdell Fellow
As part of my Peace Corps Prep program at the University of Florida, I took courses in food security, environmental sustainability, and French. I gained hands-on experience volunteering at an urban farm that provided fresh vegetables to local food pantries. This program helped connect my coursework to hands-on experiences and prepared me to volunteer in Senegal doing urban agriculture work.
