All current members of the Clark community are provided mailboxes in the Microsoft 365 service. Clark University sends all electronic communications using this account.
Accessing your Clark email
You may access your Clark email on or off-campus with a variety of connection methods including the Web, using your preferred email client (the ITS Help Desk supports Outlook), or apps for your mobile device. If you wish to login via the web, there is a link in the ClarkYOU portal or you can connect directly via the URL http://outlook.com/owa/clarku.edu.
Your Clark account is what you’ll use to access your email. When prompted for your username, specify it in the form of your Clark email address. If you need to change your password, use the Password Change Utility linked here.
Email Forwarding
Clark University sends electronic communications via your @clarku.edu address. Email forwarding will take all email sent to your Clark University email address (@clarku.edu) and forward it to another email address you specify.
If you choose to forward your email to an alternate address, we cannot guarantee delivery. Please note you are still responsible for all electronic communications sent to you, so if you choose to forward make sure you’ve tested to ensure delivery is working.

Exchange vs. IMAP
With many clients, you’ll have a choice of using Exchange/ActiveSync or IMAP to connect. ITS strongly recommends Exchange because it has several advantages, including easier setup (it only requires that you provide your email address and password for set up while IMAP requires server information) and Exchange provides direct access to all of the folders that are part of your mailbox.
