Wright Hall serves as one of the exclusively first-year residence halls at Clark University. The building houses approximately 202 students and several Resident Advisers. The unique opportunities and sense of community experienced in an exclusively first year hall are just the start of Wright Hall’s many great attributes. Wright Hall’s large size means that you’ll find yourself part of an immense community, full of life and fun! Wright Hall anchors the north side of campus, and is only a minute walk from the the Kneller Athletic Center, the Goddard Library, the Administration Building, and the Little Center. Wright Hall is also within a quick walk of the campus center, including the Higgins University Center, Atwood Hall, and Jonas Clark Hall.

Wright Hall Facilities
Wright Hall was extensively remodeled in the Summer of 2010. The redesign provided Wright with all new bathrooms, common rooms, kitchen, and laundry facilities. Wright Hall features abundant social and study space throughout its main three floors and basement level. There is a social lounge on every floor, and smaller sitting nooks scattered around. On the first floor you will find a 9 foot billiards table, vending machines, and a multimedia study room with computer terminal and flat screen monitor. Wright Hall also houses Clark’s Commuter Lounge. On the second floor you will find a quiet study room and a laundry center with computer terminal. On the third floor is another quiet study room and a kitchen for residential use. Wright Hall features two common bathrooms with privacy partitions for showering on the second and third floor with. The first floor is home to a single user bathroom stall and as of Fall 2024, two gender-inclsuive common bathroom facilities with several private bathroom and shower stalls. Wright also offers air conditioning in student bedrooms.
Wright Hall is comprised of double, single, and triple rooms. Rooms are equipped with beds and mattresses (extra long twin), desks, chairs, bookshelves, built in closets, and window shades. Wright is also equipped with wifie and ethernet access and free laundry for residential students.
Wright Hall also has an elevator, several ADA compliant bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as automatic door openers on the main entrance of the building. If you believe you need a housing accommodation, please contact Student Accessibility Services.
Gender Inclusive Bathroom Information
Each wing has a communal bathroom consisting of multiple stalled toilets and stalled showers. Each bathroom also has a handicapped stall. The first floor now offers two gender inclusive communal bathrooms with multiple private bathroom and shower stalls. There is also one gender inclusive single stalled bathroom with no shower located next to the common room on the first floor.
