  • To ensure accurate and timely responses, please ONLY fill out ONE request at a time.
  • Facilities is NOT responsible for cable problems. If you have a problem regarding cable, please contact Residential Life & Housing at (508)793-7453.
  • Facilities is NOT responsible for laundry problems. If you have a problem regarding laundry, please fill out an online request with Automatic Laundry.
  • Facilities does NOT process signage requests. If you have signage that requires updates due to moves, name changes or other reasons, please fill out a Signage Request Form.
  • Facilities performs maintenance and repair of existing university-owned facilities. Because of high volume of necessary repair requests that go through the Facilities office, requests such as furniture assembly, painting for aesthetic purposes, and other cosmetic upgrades will be lowest on the priority list.
  • Please provide as much detail as possible, including deadlines, schedules, etc.
  • Work orders for emergencies should NOT be communicated by email or online work order request; these should be reported by phone.
  • “Non-standard” work requests, which require some amount of combination of construction, procurement, vendor/contractor, and/or multi-trade coordination or significant scheduling/cost, are held in a queue and reviewed monthly. You will receive an email letting you know if your submitted request meets the “non-standard” threshold. Following that review, a Facilities representative will contact you to share results and next steps. Non-standard work request are those that , in almost all cases, are considered “new work” and not repairs, corrective maintenance, or preventative maintenance. Our goal is to improve efficiency and the quality of responses for these complex requests.
  • Event work requests must be submitted a minimum of 10 business days (Mon-Fri 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.) prior to the date serve is needed. We recommend 20 business days for events greater than 100 attendees. Late submission for event requests will result in either Facilities not accommodating or additional charges.
