Learn more about Henry

Henry Chambers is originally from South Carolina and brings plenty of southern charm and hospitality with him. Henry graduated from the University of South Carolina with a BS in International Business and BA in International Studies. Then due to unnecessary barriers, I mean his love for learning, he returned to the classroom and obtained both a Master of International Business from The University of South Carolina and MA in Education and Human Development from The George Washington University.

In the past few years, he has worked in admissions, at the undergraduate level at Middle Tennessee State University, with a focus on international students, and then at the graduate level at Tufts University, with a focus on the Fletcher School’s master’s program in international business. During this time, he served as the inaugural Scholar in Residence for the Global Learning Community at MTSU, on Fletcher’s DEI Standing Committee, and as a facilitator for Tufts’ Intercultural Learning Community. Given his interest in these responsibilities, he transitioned to full-time DEI work as the inaugural Program Administrator for DEI at The Fletcher School and graduated with yet another master’s in Diversity and Inclusion Leadership from Tufts.

Henry loves experiencing different cultures both domestically and abroad. This has resulted in him traveling to approximately 35 states and around 45 countries. However, just like the field of DEI, there is always plenty more for him to be exposed to in order to continually learn.
