Uhelp
Uhelp provides telephone mental health support by professional therapists when CPG is not open.
We encourage you to use Uhelp if you feel overwhelmed and need someone to talk to in the moment — and the moment is outside of CPG’s business hours. It’s also helpful if you need help when experiencing a panic attack, suicidal thoughts, or any other heightened mental health situation. Uhelp counselors have extensive training in helping students feel more stable when their emotional state is overwhelmed.
Access Uhelp between 5 p.m. and 9 a.m. on weekdays and 24 hours/day on weekends (Friday at 5 p.m. through Monday at 9 a.m.). To connect with a professional therapist through Uhelp, call the counseling center at 1-508-793-7678 and select option 2. This will automatically connect you to a Uhelp counselor who is familiar with the Clark University campus and can provide therapeutic consultation and intervention options. Uhelp is a confidential resource.
If you experience a mental health crisis during normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.), you can still call CPG and talk to a CPG counselor in person.
Please Note:This resource is also available to Clark students who are located in a state outside of Massachusetts, and to international students who are located in a different country.
