Find a Job, Internship, or Fellowship
  • Hispanic Alliance for Career Advancement provides a job search tool with keyword and location filters to locate opportunities for Latinx students.
  • United Latino Job Bank is a search index in support of Hispanic and Latinx job opportunities.
  • Latpro is a job board and career support resource for Hispanic and bilingual professionals in the United States.
  • Selecting a Latino Friendly Employer is an article that lists five elements to look for that will provide some evidence that a potential employer is “Latino friendly” and has an inclusive work environment.
Professional Organizations
  • HACE is a national nonprofit dedicated to the employment, development, and advancement of current and aspiring Latinx professionals. Through professional development, resources, and networks, and by facilitating access to meaningful career opportunities, HACE helps Latinx students and professionals succeed in every phase of their careers.
  • Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers is the nation’s largest association dedicated to fostering Hispanic leadership in the STEM field. The SHPE Job Board is a leading online career center, serving as a career hub for Hispanic STEM professionals.
  • Latin Business Association (LBA) is committed to the success of its members, partners, and supporters by providing high-quality events, innovative programs and services, and useful and tangible resources that enhance business growth.
  • National Society for Hispanic Professionals (NSHP) is the top US networking association for Hispanic professionals. It is free to join, so connect with new people who share your interests and find out more about diversity job fairs happening in your area.
Funding and Scholarships
  • Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute offers scholarships, internships, fellowships, and other programs to help develop future Latinx leaders in corporations, government agencies, nonprofits, and other organizations.
  • League of United Latin American Citizens, Scholarships (LULAC) offers a variety of scholarships for high school seniors, undergraduates, and graduate students through their educational sponsor, the LULAC National Educational Service Centers.
  • Hispanic Scholarships provides a list of available scholarship options for students of Hispanic or Latinx descent.
  • Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities provides and an extensive list of scholarships, internships, and student programs.
  • Hispanic Scholarship Fund awards scholarships ranging from $500-$5,000. HSF Scholars have access to invaluable Scholar Support Services including career services, mentorship, leadership development, knowledge building, and wellness training. Applicants must be of Hispanic heritage and a U.S. citizen, permanent legal resident, or DACA recipient.
  • Brown and Caldwell, Minority Scholarships offers $5,000 scholarships to support minority students who are interested in pursuing a career in the environmental profession.
  • Smithsonian Institution Minority Internship Program is a 10-week summer, fall, or spring internship opportunity. Interns work on research or museum-related projects under the supervision of museum staff members.
  • The Emma Bowen Foundation promotes a more diverse industry by recruiting promising students of color and placing them in multiyear paid internships at some of the nation’s leading media and tech companies.
  • 100+ College and Grad School Scholarships for African-American Women is a curated list of scholarships targeted toward multicultural women of African and Latin descent who are enrolled as undergraduate and graduate students in a variety of academic disciplines.
Entrepreneurship
  • Latino Startup Alliance encourages the inspiration and cultivation of U.S. Latinx-led technology startup ventures by providing a strong support network of fellow entrepreneurs, investors, innovators, and mentors.
  • Hispanic 100 develops and promotes leadership within and from the Hispanic community to advance and support venture principles through advocacy and educational activities that impact the Hispanic population as it relates to the overall social and economic good.
  • Latino Entrepreneurs is where successful and upstart Latinx ventures share their businesses’ paths, progressions, problems, highlights, and more as a way to disseminate information to those contemplating a startup.
  • Interested in starting your own business? Hello Alice is a technology platform that helps businesses launch and grow by providing access to funding, networks, and services. The platform runs a funding and mentoring program called Business for All, which funds grants of up to $50,000 to support diverse small business owners.
  • Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Grants foster and encourage participation in government contracting by socially and economically disadvantaged small businesses. The SBIR issues Black business grants, minority business grants, and women business grants.
