The Media Arts Study Hub (MASH) is an open study space equipped with a wide array of modern and legacy technology.
Raising the curtain on Little Center’s newly remodeled building—housing Clark’s theatre arts programs.
Originally built in built in 1964, the recent building updates for the Little Center became imperative to continue supporting the active theatre community and delivering high-quality productions. As the hub of Clark’s theater arts program, the Little Center hums with set-building and costume construction, rehearsals and productions nearly every day and night throughout the academic year.
The building’s main performance space, a black box theater, was named in honor of Goldie Michelson, M.A. ’36, in 2009.
The Michelson Theater is furnished with:
- Flexible seating for 150
- Modern digital mixer and sounds system
- Modern lighting system including moving lights, LEDs, and conventional fixtures
- Digital projection system designed for 3D surface mapping
The building also includes costume and scene shops, classrooms, and faculty offices.
