Economics

Economics majors with outstanding academic records (a GPA of at least 3.6 in economics courses, 3.0 overall) may apply to pursue departmental honors. To receive departmental honors, a student must successfully complete an honors thesis. Prospective candidates for honors must choose a thesis advisor and thesis topic in the spring of their junior year prior to receiving permission to take the honors course.
