Dr. Ron (Rongyu) Lin is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Clark University. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology and an MBA with a STEM concentration in Data Science and Business Analytics from Santa Clara University. Dr. Lin’s research focuses on semiconductor device design using machine learning and AI applications in multi-disciplinary fields. Prior to joining Clark, he served as the Principal Data Scientist at Capital One. His scholarly contributions include publications as both first author and co-author in top-tier journals and conferences such as Nature Communications, Journal of Physics, Journal of Materials Chemistry C, and the Annual Meeting of the Association for Computational Linguistics (ACL). Dr. Lin also serves as a reviewer for several prestigious journals, including Transactions on Computational Science, Applied Intelligence, Journal of Ambient Intelligence and Humanized Computing, Computers and Education: Artificial Intelligence, and Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence.
