About the Author:

Dr. Joseph de Rivera is Professor of Psychology Emeritus,  at Clark University. He is a founding member of the International Society for Research on Emotions and a fellow in three different divisions of the American Psychological Association.

About Between the Lines:

Between the Lines is a Goddard Library speaker series aimed at an audience of the curious, both within Clark and beyond. The purpose of the series is to celebrate Clark faculty scholarship through an intellectually accessible conversation with the author about their life and work.
