As part of the Department of Language, Literature and Culture Department’s 2022-2023 Speaker Series, Professor Tyran Grillo will share excerpts of his translation of The Running Boy, a late 20th-century short story collection by Japanese author Megumu Sagisawa, using these as lenses through which to regard relevant questions of mortality and trauma as activated by the pandemic.
