- This event has ended.
Due to the impending snowstorm, this performance has been moved to Jefferson Academic Center 320. Unfortunately, we have made the decision to close this performance to the public and only invite members of the Clark campus community. A livestream will still be available at tinyurl.com/ClarkArtsYoutube.
We appreciate your support and hope everyone can join us at a concert again soon!
Cailin Marcel Manson (baritone), Katherine Saik (soprano), and Jordan Thomas (harp) perform a new work composed by Nico Gutierrez with texts by poet Jana Lillie, a bi-racial Vermont resident who recently published her first book of poetry, written during the pandemic in the aftermath of the death of George Floyd. Other art songs by composers of color, reimagined for accompaniment by harp, will be featured. This event is sponsored by the Music Program and the Higgins School of Humanities.
