Excel has been integral to data analysis since its creation in 1985 (although now it’s a little easier to use). One of the most powerful tools to organize and understand data is the software’s built-in ability to create pivot tables and pivot charts.
These tables and charts are flexible, visual ways of recognizing and sharing important insights in Excel. Regardless if you work with student surveys, financial information, or campus assets, pivot tables and charts can quickly become one of your best friends.
In this workshop, you’ll learn how to:
- Differentiate pivot tables and charts from their static counterparts and determine when to use each one
- Create and manipulate pivot tables
- Customize the look of pivot charts
- Keep pivots up-to-date with new information
- And more!
Please note: This workshop will take place on campus and space is limited. It is only open to staff and faculty. For more information, contact techtraining@clarku.edu
