Prehealth Advising Program Information Session
Sunday, August 25, 3:30 pm, Jonas Clark Hall, Room 101
Interested in a career in medicine as a doctor of medicine (MD), doctor of osteopathic medicine (DO), dentist (DDM or DDS), veterinarian (DVM), optometrist (OD), podiatrist (DPM), physician assistant (PA), nurse practitioner (NP), physical therapist (PT), pharmacist (PharmD), nurse (RN)…? Please attend Dr. Denis Larochelle’s information session on our Prehealth Advising Program on Sunday, August 25, 2024 at 3:30 pm in Jonas Clark Hall, Room 101. This is a highly recommended session for anyone contemplating any type of career in healthcare (this session will not cover public health).
You will learn the importance of early planning when it comes to choosing courses, selecting a major, identifying programs of interest, planning extracurricular activities, preparing for standardized exams required for various programs, and overall preparing for the application process that can become quite involved.
You are not in any way committing yourself to pursuing any particular career or program of study by attending this meeting – rather, you can learn how to keep your options open.
You can sign up to be added to our prehealth advising program mailing list and begin your journey. (If you cannot attend the information session on Sunday, you can fill out the form to be added to our prehealth advising program mailing list and email it to premed@clarku.edu.)
If you decide at a later time that you might be interested in exploring a career in healthcare, I encourage you to contact me at dlarochelle@clarku.edu.
I hope that you enjoy orientation, and that your time at Clark is engaging and rewarding.
