Join the Clark Black Alumni Association (CBAA) and Company One Theatre (founded by six Clarkies) at the Strand Theatre in Boston for a reception and performance of “The Boy Who Kissed the Sky,” directed by Summer L. Williams ’01, M.A.Ed. ’02. The play is inspired by the early life and influences of musical icon Jimi Hendrix.

Founded by six Clarkies, Company One Theatre invites dreamers of all ages to “The Boy Who Kissed the Sky,” inspired by the early life and influences of Jimi Hendrix. Follow the journey of a young Black boy finding his own voice and the power of his creativity through community and reaching for the stars. Watch the trailer.
Prior to the performance, mingle with fellow alumni and new Clark families at a private lunch reception. Admission price includes lunch, the performance, and supports Company One Theatre, whose mission is to build community at the intersection of art and social change.
