The Transgender Day of Remembrance, also known as the International Transgender Day of Remembrance, has been observed annually on Nov. 20 to honor those who have been murdered as a result of transphobia. The day was founded to draw attention to the continued violence endured by transgender people.
PRISM and ISEA will be recognizing this day with a candlelight vigil. Join us to recognize those who have lost their lives in the past year. The reading of names, a moment of silence, and a nondenominational prayer will be followed by a healing space with food and fellowship.
