Jazz Workshop and Combos presents JazzFest

Directed by Jerry Sabatini, Jazz Fest gives students in the Jazz Workshop and Combos the chance to showcase what they’ve been working on. Join us on The Green for some excellent music and good vibes.

Tabula Rasa: An Evening of Dance, Music, Theatre & Poetry

An interdisciplinary evening of art, featuring student dancers, guest performers, gallery art, music, and more. There will be two performances — 3 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.  $5 for the public, free with a Clark ID.

Join us to celebrate the culmination of four student-made films:  Long Play & Kill Your Babies by the SCRN 209 class,  Children of the Fish by Elena Gonzalez , and Tony Wicket: An American Story by Alec Tarnowski.

In celebration of Juneteenth, join the Clark Black Alumni Association (CBAA) for this virtual conversation with Professor Ousmane Power-Greene, Ph.D., an associate professor in the History department and Clark’s director of Africana Studies, who will discuss his recently published novel, “The Confessions of Matthew Strong.”

Company One Theatre and the CBAA Present: “The Boy Who Kissed the Sky”

Join the Clark Black Alumni Association (CBAA) and Company One Theatre (founded by six Clarkies) at the Strand Theatre in Boston for a reception and performance of “The Boy Who Kissed the Sky,” directed by Summer L. Williams ’01, M.A.Ed. ’02. The play is inspired by the early life and influences of musical icon Jimi Hendrix.

Student Film Screening on Worcester Common

“Long Play,” a film written by Liv Wilde ’23 and directed by Gyani Pradhan Wong Ah Sui ’24, will be screened during the City of Worcester’s Movies on the Common.
