In observance of Latine/Latinx Heritage Month, we are hosting our second annual kick-off event: ¡Fiesta! Join us for a taste of Latin food, music, dance, and culture. We welcome all students, faculty, staff, and alumni to join us in celebration.
Latine/Latinx Heritage Month, which runs from September 15th to October 15th of each year, is a national observance that celebrates the histories, cultures, and contributions of Latine/Latinx people. The observance begins in mid-September as a nod to the anniversaries of national independence for a number of Latin American countries, such as Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Mexico, and Chile.
