Join Clark’s LGBTQ+ Alumni Association for a special virtual Q&A event celebrating the publication of Dr. Abbie E. Goldberg’s important upcoming book, “LGBTQ Family Building: A Guide for Prospective Parents.”
Using evidence-based research uncovered over the past 20 years (17 at Clark!), Dr. Goldberg will address the strengths that members of the LGBTQ+ community bring to parenthood, and the challenges many face when becoming a parent. Attendees will learn tools for making this major life decision, including information about adoption, donor insemination, and surrogacy, as well as how to evaluate adoption agencies and health care providers for specific competencies.
This event is open to everyone. LBGTQ+ allies, family, and friends are welcome to come and learn about the wonders and challenges of LGBTQ+ parenting.
