Interactive Media: Game Design and Development, B.A.

Accelerated Master’s

Earn an MFA in Interactive Media by adding a fifth year to your interactive media studies.

Our program gives students an even greater competitive edge in the fields of game development and interactive media. This valuable credential will also enable you to pursue a career path in higher education, teaching, or research.

The Master of Fine Arts in Interactive Media requires 15 one-unit courses. MFA course work includes self-directed project development, research, and thesis writing.

In the second year of the MFA, students will act as creative director and team lead for an undergraduate Game Studio team. The graduate student, along with this team, will work to complete an original work of interactive media to be exhibited at the end of the year along with the MFA student’s thesis defense.

Please Note: The MFA is an advanced terminal degree and therefore not part of Clark University’s 4+1 program. However, students admitted into this fifth year of study may receive a 50% tuition discount for that year.
