Experiential major maps help students visualize and design their journey at Clark and beyond. Major maps highlight learning opportunities in and out of the classroom and offer an opening to reflect on the experiences that support career development.
Students use the experiential major maps during pre-major advising to explore different fields of study and start to plan ways to expand their learning and skill development. See below for links to the experiential major maps, including a pre-major map called “Your Clark Journey.”
Advisors use the experiential major maps to guide conversations with students during advising.
The Experiential Major Maps were created as part of Clark’s Curriculum & Careers Initiative with collaborative support from the offices of the Dean of the College, Dean of Students, the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning as well as staff of the Career Connections Center, with funding from the Arthur Vining Davis Foundation.
