A chance meeting led MiKayla Dotson ’23 to a research fellowship at the Mosakowski Institute for Public Enterprise, where she cultivated project-management and problem-solving skills and co-created the Clark University Guide app to address the isolation, loneliness, and confusion some students feel during their first year on campus.
This fall, she’ll begin graduate school at Brown University, and hopes to work on developing “mental health care systems and services that don’t feel like mental health care systems and services.”
