Historical background: The Nazi regime used the postal service to promote Nazi propaganda through stamps and postcards. Postal aviation was seen as a way to shorten mail delivery times domestically and internationally.

On the left hand side of the postcard is a black and white line drawing of an airplane flying over a man with wings on a chariot with four horse pulling him.

On the right hand side, the postcard is addressed to Mr. Erich Grundey as well as stamped and postmarked.

On the back of the postcard is a letter inviting Mr. Grundey to a members meeting at 8:30 PM on Tuesday. The meeting is for the Association of Airmail Collectors, Berlin.
