Translation:

My dears! We were very pleased to receive the package today and thank you very much for it. It’s a shame you didn’t get the position. My old darling is currently in bed, she has caught a cold and now has the flu. But it’s better. We really enjoy the album with pictures, but now we can’t paste it in because of all the care we have to take. In any case, it makes us happy and also that Berta was happy even though I couldn’t let it get me down. I’ll hear more from time to time. Greetings to everyone
