Making friends and finding your way
Your first year of college is an exciting time, and we want to make sure you get the most out of it.
Your first year
The First-Year Experience (FYE) program gives you the opportunity to meet new friends, explore your interests, connect with mentors and advisors, and learn about the resources you need for success at Clark.
Your First Year Experience will include advising, Orientation, Clark Navigator, the First-Year Intensive course, and living in first-year residence halls.
First-Year Success Advising
From summer course registration to the end of your first year, your first-year success adviser will be there for you.

First-Year Residence Halls
A key part of the First-Year Experience is living in a residence hall with your peers. Here, you will get to know other first-year students and become accustomed to life at Clark. Each floor has at least one resident adviser who works to build community, support health and safety, and assists students in the building.
A group of resident advisors prepare to greet incoming first-year students.
