This eight-unit interdisciplinary degree lets you rapidly acquire the technical skills and industry knowledge you need to stand out as a healthcare leader today.

Prepare for a Range of Healthcare Careers

The MSHT program combines instruction across essential technology disciplines including digital health applications, health information exchange, data analytics, cybersecurity, AI and machine learning, and strategic management of healthcare technologies.

Students gain hands-on experience in designing and managing healthcare technology systems to drive clinical decisions, implement cybersecurity measures, and leverage AI for innovative patient care solutions.

The program culminates in a capstone course, allowing students to either earn an industry-recognized certifications or conduct in-depth research, demonstrating their expertise and readiness to lead technology-driven initiatives in healthcare and/or pursue doctoral studies.

STEM Designated Degree

Students who graduate with a STEM degree may be eligible to work in the U.S. for up to 36 months on Optional Practical Training (OPT).

Eight Courses to Rapidly Advance your Career

The program’s eight-course structure reduces degree completion time. Full time students can complete the degree in 3 semesters, and part time students can complete it in 4.

Dr. Singh Has more than 15 years of industry experience, including leading and managing digital transformation, product development, process improvement, and risk management in banking, technology, and insurance.

Dr. Singh holds a Ph.D. in Technology Management from the University of Bridgeport; an MBA and a MS in Accounting from the University of Hartford; and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Punjabi University in India.

Amy Molten, MD, FAAP, is a clinical innovation leader with extensive healthcare technology experience. Currently, Dr. Molten is medical staff in clinical teaching at Tufts Medical Center; Chair of the Section on Advances in Therapeutics & Technology (SOATT) at the American Academy of Pediatrics; and an advisor to Ladder Health. Previously, Dr. Molten served as the Chief Medical Officer and Director of Medicine at Well. She also served as Director of Medicine and Physician Researcher at Buoy Health.

Dr. Molten earned her M.D. from the University of Vermont and completed her residency at Yale School of Medicine. She also holds a certificate of specialization in AI in Healthcare from Stanford University School of Medicine and a bachelor’s degree in linguistics from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.
