Prepare to Lead Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation
The Master of Science in Climate and Society is an interdisciplinary degree offered by the School of Climate, Environment, and Society. This program equips students to lead the response to the pressing challenges of climate change.
The program delivers foundational knowledge in the science of climate change and its social and economic dimensions. Students acquire the knowledge, skills, and experience needed to become effective practitioners in the fields of climate change mitigation, climate change adaptation, and climate change advocacy and activism.
In line with Clark University’s broader mission, this degree emphasizes the need for equitable and just solutions to the challenges posed by climate change, and trains students to collaborate with frontline communities to implement climate solutions locally, and around the world.
Clark faculty are connected with communities in our home city of Worcester, and lead Global Learning Collaboratives and community engaged research, practice, and action.
