Sara Edwards (CDP '2010)

Sara Edwards (USA) graduated with a B.A. in biology and environmental studies from Denison University in 2006. She went abroad to Tanzania as an undergrad and studied the relationship between the people and the land, as well as the effects of land use on herpetofauna in the rainforest. She has worked as an environmental educator in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Ohio, where she residentially taught ecological and sustainable principles. This past year she has been working for the Department of the Environment in San Francisco, Calif., helping to implement the nation’s first comprehensive lunchroom composting system in the schools.
